Georges Dufr%C3%A9noy

Georges Dufrnoy was a French postImpressionist painter associated with Fauvism.

He was born in Thiais, France. His family lived atPlace des Vosges in Paris in a historic 17thcentury building in which he lived all his life. Dufrnoy went to school at the Oratoriens Catholic school from ageto 17. At 17, after some hesitation between the study of architecture and painting, Dufrnoy chose to become a painter.
